Domestic Abuse Needs Assessment 2024
Domestic abuse (DA) includes a range of abusive behaviours. Whilst it is common, it is often hidden and therefore difficult to quantify. Health Protection Annual Report 2022-23
Health Protection is a term used to describe a set of activities within the public health system that protects individuals, groups and populations from communicable (infectious) diseases and other threats to health, including non-infectious environmental hazards such as chemicals and radiation. Health protection is one of the responsibilities of the local Director of Public Health, working with key partners including the UK Health Security Agency, the NHS, national government, industry, other agencies and the public.

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) provides an overview of the current and future health and wellbeing needs of people in Swindon. The JSNA presents key facts, intelligence and challenges for a wide range of public health topics which are organised under 5 thematic areas: People and the community, Place, Starting Well, Living and Working well, and Ageing Well. ‘How are you?’ student survey results
The results to the 2023-2024 How Are You? pupils’ voice survey for Year 8 and Year 10 pupils in Swindon have been published and are available to view or download from the surveys page of the JSNA website. The survey is carried out in Swindon’s secondary schools to learn about the changing behaviours of young people as they get older.
